My dear Husband, I was very sorry to hear today, from your short note to our son, that you were suffering so much, from that cruely painful disease Rheumatism. Fred went out at once, on the receipt of your note, bought two boxes of the [Salicilica?] and then himself went to the Post Office, and sent them off to you this afternoon When the remedy does you so much good, I am surprised you ever allow yourself to be with out it. The medicine last its beneficial effect upon me, the winter after our visit to you at Sully.
