Without entering into any consideration of the propriety of following their examples in this respect, the fact is unquestionable, that their liberating has procured them the attachment of a great number of persons extremely well qualified to guide the feelings of the Indians. They have generally made it a principle to employ every active young man, speaking the Indian language and acquainted with their manners
