Every coach from the east comes loaded. Mr. Rockwell of Beloit brought his family last week. A gentleman who last year was at work for an Irish man names Pat Casey (at $800 per ann.) come down and met his wife and three daughters, a most lovely appearing family, ladies everyone of them of culture and good breeding. I never saw a man's cup of happiness seem to be running over so fast. How proud he was of them. He hadn't seen them for three years, and a year since hardly dared to hope he should for three more; but his employer dispensed with his services, he went to work on his own claim, and had been taking out $1000 per week clear of all expense for the last four months. In four or five more years he would have all the money he would ever want and they would have all the money they would all need, and then they could go back East if they wanted.
