In his extreme old age he had to be carried to the Church. And being unable to deliver long discourses he simply said - "Little children love one another."  When asked why he repeated this so much he replied "Because this is the command of the Lord, and enough is done if this is obeyed."  John died a natural death at the age of 90 yrs. or over.
