1794 WD 11 mo. 17. 2 horses were ty'd up without other fodder than what we had with us viz: some Oats.

          18. 3  Rose early and set out for Kiler's Tavern about 20 Miles with out inhabitants, crossed Lorrell Hill or Allegahana Mountain, of a prodigious Height, & several miles over, from the Top is a very extensive prospect, we saw one Deer within gun shot & by the tracks they appear to be plenty, we started a Bear which was a Curious sight, he appear'd to be so fat that he could travel but slow.
         19. 4  Road about 40 miles to the Widow Harriss's & lodged. 
         20. 5  Road to Samuel Williams's a place, known by the Name of Munsy farm, we attended friends Meeting agreeable to my prospect before I left Canadoqua, after Meeting James Emlen & I went home with Wm. Ellis, David Bacon and Wm Savory with Samueal Wallace they haveing concluded to go home by the way of Northumberland. 
        21. 6. James Emlin & I went home with Jess Haines at fishing Creek & lodged comfortably. 
        22. 7 Road about 16 Miles to Catewissey, crossed the Susquehanna, it was high & rapid, lodged at John Mears a kind friend, paid a visit to Richard Nisbitt and several others.
       23. 1  Attended the Meeting to a good degree of Satisfaction, crossed Catewissey & went home with Thomas. 
       24. 2  Rose early and set out with our friend Thos for Maiden Creek, and reached the Widow Hallows in the evening about 40 miles.
