THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 1863. Had a rumor in camp that we would go at one o'clock. Took a box to the Express Office to be sent home. Recd four letters today. One from Margarette saying that she had sent a box. H.F. Stewart got his discharge today.

FRIDAY 13 Bought 28 cap covers for the men, at $3.00 per dozen. Went to see Gen Moorhead He did not give me any encouragement.

SATURDAY 14 Making preparations to march in the morning at 6 o'clock Corp. Stewart received his discharge a day or two ago
