terribly hard to get started again - Fortunately I have only to write descriptions- The buffalo is my subject now & any one ought to make that interesting at least to sportsmen. Sent my rifle to blacksmith yesterday to get a new double trigger - He said I should have it today - suppose he was too busy shoeing the horses & mules for the scouting parties. Several off's to visit me in evening - wrote afterwards to bed at 12 pm
