Of course; you will write me all about him -- and send me that Daguerreotype too, and write me of your own health as well as his -- will you not? Write me particularly. I want to hear of every time Mayo tumbles down and hurts himself! And whether he begins to try to talk any. and how many teeth he has always &c. I want to hear too about that Journey of Father & Mother. As for news. Horace Smith has today got back with his wife & child. been gone two weeks further, is to board her yet. 17 mos. old does not walk any yet. Mrs Smith is, as you say I believe, in an extremely flourishing condition.
