Fri. 16 warmer. cloudy. drizzling rain p.m. a.m. hoeing potatoes on flat. Jo went up to wood lot to see if hay stacks were all right. Johns hand very sore blister under callous. p.m. Jo, Eli, & I help Geo put one load of hay in top of barn. 1 hour or so. Eve. Jo & Eli debated Annex of Canada. Lincoln Club. Sat 17 warm. threatening. a.m. Home. picking blk currants 18 gal p.m. Jo Eli Ike & I haying for Geo. finished Dr. lanced Johns hand. Wilder in Wellington. Sun 18 Father sick 8: a.m. see Apl. 18 side note Kingbirds & Wood Pewees flown from nest, see June 12. warm threatening . clear off Eve. S.S. & came home with Franklin. Lake Ave. 22 present. Ellis Wurts C E. Mayo led. Cadmus preached on the Transfiguration. Rob Crehore Eloped last Thursday Mon 19 a.m. Jo Eli & I help Geo hauling wheat.
