We are all in fine health and spirits. John and Anna stare about at a great rate. Mary Barber makes herself generally useful I judge. Washing dishes this morning while Eliza was getting to Ironing. 

Eliab etc. do not go to Penn. till next week. He has got ones at work on his new fence and cannot leave them.

Mr. Holmes goes back to Conn. Friday. Lee Twiss at our house today. Blackberries begin to ripen. Also green corn to fill.
