The Boys and myself wrote a big letter to you Sunday night, mailed yesterday morning, which after some hesitation I directed ampersand? unclear; thinking it would not get around before Thursday, and that by that time you would be there rather than at Yarmouth. I wrote much about going East, or rather not going, and mostly concluding it was hardly best to try to go. If i went I should hardly feel like staying more than the unclear possible days to go and come in, and perhaps it would hardly be months the while if you could come back alone or with Samuel or somehow.
