It is very warm weather there. One excursion was to Westfield Hog's back, a sort of geological curiosity which I resided once most forty yrs ago. Today she expected to excursion to Niagara Falls. We have some company. Tuesday Prof F.H. Foster and Will Terney? walked over from Oberlin early in the cool morning, staid here all day, and walked back in Evening. Grace Ethel returned from Amherst where she resided several days, on Wednesday morning. Wed evening two Benedict girls came from Wellington, dining over, to visit Ethel. Today they with Harlan. Ethel Harlan and Nettie have gone to the Lake with a big carriage to see the Bacons &c. John did not go, having his sermons to finish. I suppose having been hindered by Prof Foster &c.
