Feb, 18 1883 My dear Anna,- A telegram reached us today stating your reasons for not coming home. We heard last night that the train had not left Freemont at nine o'clock. We were much disappointed and hoped against hope that you would come even if the train was late. You must try again next Sat. and come during the day. Don't depend on evening trains.
