2nd visit June 7th warm with high wind south & disagreeable- Mary & I left home at 12-15 P.M- by the same route as at first- The long walk between the cars is very tiresome We first went to the Fine Arts B'd'g- where we looked for a while at the exhibit of paintings from Holland none of which seemed to me of especial merit- Thence to the Japanese Department where we found Mr Choyo who showed us much kindness and attention- A long tailed rooster in bronze is very fine also an Ourang Outang carved in wood- We saw some beautiful articles in lacquer work, some carved ivories, and two views of Fuji- one in a round frame- also a
