102 Thursday the 9th February Did not go out of doors though it was the first bright day we have had for some time; had a nice ball here with not too great a crowd danced the first ?with Mr Milles, 2 Mr Bewicke, 3 Mr Sumner 4 Mr Hedley; the country dance with Mr Stonestreet; the next ? with Mr Ridley the 1st waltz with Mr Armitage, 3 Mr Dowell, 2 Mr Scott 4 Mr Paul Gemming a german, 5 Mr the cotillion with Capt Grange a very nice ball made a few mistakes about my engagements--
