Started our teams to Pikes Peak from Dowagiac Cass County michigan, our Company consisting of Hungerfords wagon with Jake Hungerford and Orrin Hungerford both old Californians with two other men. 
Also a Mr. Mominees wagon with Mominee (an old French man) and Richard Robinson and Wm Bilderback both under 20 years

Also our own wagon with Uncle Dan Farnham an old Californian. Dan Farnham junior aged 21 and myself Aged 23 years all from Cass County Michigan and all with ox teams
