Cold but moderately pleasant.  Holden & McJenkins came back to day.  A? many people in town & we were quite busy in the office.  Sherman engaged to [[unclear]]  again on Monday for Sherman   At night Holden & I called at Rev Wilsons & met there Dr Richards (of course)    Returning Holden & I played "[[unclear]] Jack" until bedtime  Judge Young paid his half of the fees in the partition case $12.50
