We have at last got a letter from you. We had been looking for a letter for a long time, every night we thought we surly would get one that night but no, no letter came. You were not very well I fear. Mary will have to be very careful or she will be sick again. Miss [[Colagrove?]] finished a dress she was making for Sarah to night.  Cousin Elizabeth tried it on, it looked quite pretty. We have not heard from Sarah for some time,  but hope to soon.  Do please to forgive me for not answering your last note.  I have no excuse to give at all.  But I hope to be more [[?]] in answering your letters after this.  I can not see how I could let you stay there so long before I wrote one word.
