Friday, 11. Warm as usual-all quiet & no news from any quarter No boats up nor down. Attended Battalion drill myself to-day. Troubled but little by the Genl to day. Rode out as far as Harts with Col Peebles-had a pleasant time. At night called upon Col Risden. Genl came while was there. Things are becoming interesting.Damnably so!
