We arrived here to-day about noon - all O.K. right side up with care. The command is in good health & condition. I wrote last ib tge morning of the 8th from Gardner's Ranch on Seven Rivers. We marched that day about 30 miles & encamped at Sun down in the dry bed of the Canon of the Peneaseo. During the day on the high ridge of the Plain - the Snot topped summit of the Siera Blanco came in sight - 80 to [[unclear]] mile to the Northwest. The highest Peak is said to be 10,000 feet abou the sea. We are now encamped near - not more than 8 - miles from
