had a second fine view of the procession - it took a little over an hour [unclear] pass [unclear]. Took a walk down Street to [unclear] the crowd & get a glass of[mead?] found it [unclear] [unclear]. Had a call from Mr [unclear] an old school master of J--whom he had not met for over [unclear] five years. also a call from Major Eckles [unclear] [unclear] - Retired very tired at 10 oclock.
