My dear Sisters.

                        I do not hear a

word from you, & perhaps you wait for me to write? If so, you must nit, any more; for I desire so much to hear from you often; do write often, if only a few words, that I may know you, & your family are well, or otherwise---

Breakfast to get, & the usual morning

chores, as feeding chickens -- caring hay & water to the Bossy --milk to skim & pens to scald-- sweeping & till the time was at hand that we must get ready for church, so as to be in season --- As soon as I got home the supper must begot ready, & then the night chores come on one after another, & it is nearly 9 o'clock--
