Remsen Apr. 4, 1885.

Dear Sister,

John Eddie and I came home yesterday and left Anna at cousin Mary's. She expected to come the first of next week but will probably wait till we send her word as the roads now are very bad. The snow is very deep and soft so that they cannot take a horse from here to the church. We have been going through the lots straight to church and and the road to the corner has been closed and we cannot go either way now.

with cousin Mary. They are all very kind. Will you stop there as you come through? I must write to Edward--it is most unclear. Am pretty tired still. Had a good visit in both places. Much love to you and the other friends. Jennie Everett.
