The Superintendant observes, that, under all the circumstances, if the Council of the 22d fail to bring about a reconciliation, and if there is any further killing, there will be a general difficulty between the Cherokees, which, in all probability, may be increased by accessions from the Greeks & Seminoles. He is unable to say what course Gen: Arbuckle will adopt. Hd himself can only use his exer-tions in a pacific way to re-concile all parties. He will at-tend the Council on the 22d, & keep the Commissioner advised, from time to time, of what is doing by both parties of Cherokees | ||
