Sat. Morning, Jan. 28 My dear Sister, Sarah has been a little better and brighter since I wrote you yesterday Though very weak. Dr. W was here this morning, - he says he does not think she has changed much since he was here before (Tuesday). - he says she has wonderful vitality. - has promised to see her again the first of the week. She had another hard time coughing and raising in the night last night - but did not vomit this time. We get the air pillows all right - and find them very nice and comfortable. The expressage was paid- - did you pay it; or Mr. Askin?? We recd your second letter last night. J. G? is going to Remsen? after dinner, and I write this, lest you may fail to hear by today's mail.
