She was some 8 or 10 miles off sho also saw the smoke of a Steamer a long distance off. could not see her hull, Warm again today- at 12 M in Lat 13-06 North. Long. 91-10 West. distance the last 24 hours 260 miles- at 5 Oclock P M, are within 325 miles of San Juan- del- Sur.- where we expect to land- if a Steamer is ready for us on the Atlantic side. and tho Capt thinks, one will be if we are obliged to keep on to Panama.
