Dear Mary, I meant to have written to you before telling of the nervous spell Sis had a little over a week ago, but I hardly knew how to describe it. She has done very well. You can judge by what she writes that she was a good deal frightened, indeed we all [[?]] she was so weak. But we did not tink she was going to lose her mind or die either just then though she felt so strong she considered one of the two must happen. We did not any of us sleep much that night. I slept with her that night what I did sleep and the next, then I had to give up to one of my own sick spells. Sis has a good deal of pressing pain in the back of her head low down the same, I think as she has had in her temple so much. She complains of pressing pains in spots on her arms which last a little while leaving a feeling of  soreness One day she had very sharp darting pains in her eyes. I try to convince her that she had better call it all Hysterics and let it go at that. [[]] I really think her nerves and her weakness will have to answer
