As I have nothing in particular to do just now, and as I am very anxious to hear from you, it appears to me that my time can be improved in no better way than by writing to you. We have had quite a pleasant day to day, not much like the first of the year though. I suppose that you are enjoying yourself there to day, are you not? I wish that I was down there with you. How are all the folks at the Sem? If any of the students enquire after me you may tell them that I am alive and well. When you answer this letter please tell me how many students there are there that I am acquainted with, what they are doing,--what sort of singing school you have,--whether you attend it or not,--What sort of "papers" you have had, who
