Jones. [No.?] will have 38 days, there will be lots of time. We had quite a laugh when I was in there last evening. She gravely informed me that there were to be 38 days in this month & that Thanksgiving was to come on the 38th! I could not agree with her as I was sure My [Cen.?] said it was to be on the 30th. Now, how do you suppose I live without a simple card or letter but once in 2 1/2 weeks? It looks & feels to me very much like starvation diet, don't you think so? I am so anxious about you all. How is Mother? How are you & Jennie and Jack, does he go to school yet. How are Sarah & Wm. prospering with their getting ready? To Maggie all courage & how are all the rest? Is Callie | Jones.
