This morning I received a letter from mother and yourself, thank you very much for your kind remembrance of the absent one. I am sorry that you have had so much uneasiness in regard to my anxiety for Robert. I feared it would be so, when day after day I wrote, but I could not help writing. How thankful I feel for God's merciful dealings to our dear Robert! O, I do hope he is now to be restored to health. Thursday I had a letter from him. He seemed full of joy and hope.
