     What can you have  thought of me all this time, for not an- swering your two good letters? If I could only use my eyes in the evening, you would have had several letters instead of none, but the days have been  packed full and running over! I cannot remember when I did write  you last, or what I have told you and  what I have not. Of course you knew that Elisabeth went back to Oberlin in September, and that Clair was married the tenth of Oct. I visited Elisabeth at Oberlin the  week before we came up here, and spent Sunday with her. Of course  it was a great pleasure to me. One of the best things was attending Vesper service in [[. ____ ____ ____]]? church Sunday afternoon, and hearing that wonderful vested
