Do you see Mrs. Robbins? I will write her soon - It seems to me as if I never would get all my old letters answered. Am glad you have got your pillows done & are getting along so nicely. Yes, I am sorry that you can't have a minister more to your mind but have patience perhaps you may ere long - I was visiting at Mr. Polk's the other day & he shared me a beautiful little cast-iron boot jack with the motto try me on it and said if I wanted to make any of my gentle men friends a present I had better get some of these. Tell Mr. Allen that had I seen it before you went back so I could have sent it he should have had one as I heard him wishing he had one as I think it would be of more service than these old gontlets he wanted as a memento at the Depot - My respects to [illegible name] if you please - Tell Mrs. Kellam if I only had wings I would attend her party this afternoon - I wrote to Mrs. Lee & Kellam but it was a most miserable thing but hoped it might draw an answer. Have you called upon Mrs. N [illegible name] yet? Has Miss Knuland reached La Porte yet, Tell David I have forgotten where to direct Lizzie Money?

I found some envellops & paper in my writing case so I will use them to make up for those you found on your table.
