I have been pretty closely occupied this week as there has been a musical convention held in town and I have attended every eve- ning, and either morning or afternoon of each day. I went three times the first day but found that it was too much for me. Professor L. O. Emerson of Boston conducted it, and last even ing we closed with a concert which went
