I fear I shall hardly recognize it if I return. I have spent a good deal of time in hunting up in Georgetown & vicinity and Boston and vicinity, the wives and mothers of men of my Company, and of other companies, and I mean to do more of it in Philadelphia and Washington. These women folks are overjoyed to see my wife and myself and we talk to them of their husbands and sons, give them their addresses, etc. | I fear I shall hardly recognize it if I return.
