The Inglish in Virginia have but one Town, which is James Town. and that deserves not the name of a Town, for it consists but of twenty or thirty Houses, and most of them are ordinaries, for the accomodation of such, as have business at ye generall Courts & Assemblies; In the rest of ye plantations they have Towns except in Carolina.
