Your letter to hand nearly a month ago & glad to hear from you. thanks for what it contained it was very acceptable. the letters were read to Caroline it made her shed tears & the dollar was put in her hand. she was pleased to hear from you. her health is quite good for her but she is entirely helpless. have had help part of the time. it is very confining for me.
