The country is an amazing mix of ancient and modern, parking lots beside 1,000 year old temples. Their gardens are exquisite. A male chauvinist society, which we did not like, but everyone hardworking as 19th century factory girls. They are too obedient and status-conscious, but one can walk in the city parks at night unscathed.
