I am delighted to hear about your wonderful honor, and certainly no one deserve it more than you do. I am glad to know that the Missouri Library Association showed such good judgment. This should spur you on with the autobiography. | |||
Incidentally I have an idea for a picture for your book jacket. If you do leave the autobiography a boyhood account, or largely so, what about using a young boy photograph? I think this would be different - maybe it has been done before, I don't know. But Dr. E. had a darling photograph of himself at about age three sitting holding a book and I alway [sic] told him [[underlined: that]] was the photograph I |
