H. turned out a lot of poems 3 wks. at Yaddo, led a section of Writers Conference at Pippa Passes, Ky, & is now sweating out 5 M.A.'s. Sept 7 we leave Louisville for 9 mo. visiting prof at Missoula, driving out with cat. Having never seen NW we hope for some side trips as Montana U. is on quarter system. Write 59801 zip code but skip the tracts; H. has become a quaker. Last 3 weeks of spring semester Harvey spent 3 wks in St. Petersburg with his mother, who died [[underlined: after]] a successful operation. Students & registrar were hysterical. | ||
