Each time I have opened my exhibitions-I have lectured on [[Cleria?]] - and just now that might be a point of interest-I have also written to Mr. Berthold Lauffur--whom I knew very well in China--asking for his co-operation should I have the opportunity of showing them in Chicago - The pictures are pastels - about 24 x 28 inches--and there are now some eighteen etchings - I will appreciate very much if you will take them under consideration and grant me an interview on your return, for of course you can form no opinion without seeing them. I can then show you what the critics had to say of them -
