Darling Eleanor and Sherwood. We just felt we had to do something to show all our love for Mrs. Copenhaven and for you all too. Believe me, I know how terribly Eleanor must feel, because Elena and I felt just so when papa died. Elena hadn’t seen him for s long and I felt helpless to do anything for [[unclear]] and was helpless. I shall never forget Mrs. Copenhaven. She was so intensely eager and alive - and all life seemed so interesting to her. I wish Eleanor could come down here for awhile. Why don’t you all come.
