red because too many copies had been returned.  DS&P, as you may know, has been absorbed by Meredith Publishing Co. and I don't know how my work will fare from now on.  Anyway, at last report 4000 of the 5000 first printing have been sold.  Thanks for all your kind words on behalf of my book.  (I too had a brief note from Fagin.)  I'm waiting to be plagiarized but haven't been lucky!
