F. VALENTINE DUDENSING MODERN ART 43 East 57th St. NEW YORK 36.rue de l'Arcade PARIS VIII

I hope I do not seem unreasonable in asking a guarantee but fact is, every picture I have, I had to pay cash for and at very high prices. Then too I have a very active clientel right here and an exhibition out of town takes my chances of sales here away. However the list of Americans enclosed makes a very attractive exhibition and you could have it in its entirety and no other expense than cost of packing & shipping - I should say $125 would cover it. This is the exhibition I mentioned to Miss Dudley. If you get any of the New York papers it will be reviewed next Sat & Sun and you could judge the quality of the exhibition from what McBride & Miss unclear say.
