Psalm 84th[sto] Deliv[rest of the word is unclear] Aug 3. 1794 Along society Nov 9th How amiable are thy [sic] Thy Taberna= cles, O Lord of Hosts. -- The writer of this psalm is supposed to be the man after God's own heart. It is supposed also, that he compos= ed it, in his exile from A. Tabernacle & worship of God, occasioned by the conspiracy & rebellion of his Son Ab= salom -- In this affected situation he expresses the pious affection, and breathing of his soul to God, in the fifth & second verses of this psalm How amiable are thy Tabernacles O Lord of Hosts -- My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord -- My heart & my flesh crieth out for the living God -- These ar= dent desires of the psalmists heart.
