I arrived here this morning at 4.10 left [[Laguna?]] at 1.05 this morning so hav'nt had much sleep, found a letter here from you and glad to hear from you. I find Mr [[Cottur?]] a very nice man. I had good luck at Laguna painted five picture, two Pueblo squaws with their beautiful jars on their heads painted one squaw in her native costume her hair fixed the way the Pueblos fix it Then painted a little very pretty squaw with a green shawl on something [[like]] The [[unclear]] that [[unclear]] so [[unclear]], Then I painted the War Captain of the Pueblos (large size) he painted up for me and fixed himself | ||
