I wonder if any of you collect things, stamp, post card, etc.? Probably not because you have lively lives. I have a quiet one in the country & hobbies are [unclear]. One of mine is to collect the many different varieties of soiled gloves, & [[?]] specially the fancy ones or those worn by interesting people.
It sounds easy, but it is not, because even those people who promise to let me have their worn out ones have got so into the habit of throwing them away that they continue to do so.  Others think I want them [[before they are finished with?]]. I don't.
You and your company will throw away many gloves, fair & odd ones, of many kinds, while you are in [[?]] , probably more than the whole lot in my collection.
I shall not have the pleasure of seeing or hearing your company.  Will you instead [[very?]] kindly give me great [[pleasure?]] by letting my collection benefit by open visit?  I have none worn by your country women & wold much like to have
