     The 'San Bernard' Schooner is waiting for a fair wind to go out & join the 'Austin' & 'Wharton' to go down [[?]] to Vera Cruz & Yucatan.  The San Antonio Schooer gone off there some 15 days Since - The Guadalupe from Steamer [[?]] from appears to have arrived in Pburg - If one that can catch anything Mexican they will -
     The 'San Bernard' Schooner is waiting for a fair wind to go out & join the 'Austin' & 'Wharton' to go down immediately to Vera Cruz & Yucatan.  The San Antonio Schooner gone off there some 15 days Since - The Guadalupe from Steamer England [[?]] appears to have arrived in P. Cruz.  - If our fleet can catch anything Mexican they will -
     A Mr. Warfield has been some years travelling in the Western pt. of U.S. and considerably in California - he describes the [[?]] country with the ports on the Pacific in high terms for Stock raising - Fair trade - and Trade with the Pacific - The object in coming here was to get permission from the Govt to march into Texas by the Missouri trail and some 400 following say by "Bents Fort" into the vicinity of Santa Fé - upon a Marauding expedition against those who behaved badly. to the Santa Fé farmers - This I think [[?]] in our present position of affairs with Mexico
