Lieber Walther! Deine Postkarte eben erhalten. There are four cases already in Berlin and I am afraid the disease will spread. If you do not come quick you will be much detained by the precautions cities are taking to prevent travelers to pass from infected places. A few weeks vacation will not hurt you anyhow. Yesterday we were surprised by Guenther and went to Chillon together. Whenever you start do not forget to telegraph from the place you stay over night, to satisfy me.
