another Bridge, ^belonging to Cyprian Stevens & so through Gods hands prevented the enimy from cutting of that garrison; God straingly presvrd that Handfull with Capt wadsworth; for the enimy were numerous about 400, & lay in Ambushment for him on the comon road  But his guide condacked him a private way & so they got safe to Cyprian Stevens his garrison as above mentioned, But the enimy had taken & burnt another garrison house very neare the other only bordg & a littl ground parting them,  this house Burnt was th3 ministers house named mr Rolandson wherein were slained & taken captive about 40 persons the ministers wife & children among them  But I must recolect my selfe, It being not my designe to write of the doings & sufferings of the English in this tract, But of the Indians or friends; Besides the seasonable information concerning Lancaster by Job  hee also informed of the conjunction of the Narragansitt Indians with the other enimies & of their further purposes shortly,  to Attack medfield Groton &
