Many times when she visited me in Chicago she spoke of her desire to revise and shorten her dissertation: "Wilberforce's Speeches on The Abolition of The Slave Trade". As you may know she received her Ph.D in speech in 1959 (Ironic, indeed, that she has lost hers). The dean had urged her to revise it for publishing as it was a timely subject because The Civil Rights Movement. Not necessarily for popular interest but as a part of history.
